Dear Fellow Laborer in The Lord,

We count it a joy to serve the Lord. Seeing how the Lord comes through in many ways reminds us of his sovereign divine plan. For the past few months, we have seen the Lord come through several times and in miraculous ways. We can tell you that the Lord has provided all the support we need to get to the field! We are humbled by seeing how the Lord has done this in roughly two years.

Update on our family:

I’d like to share that our daughter Naya turned nine years old on September 3rd. Seeing how she is growing up and has a heart to serve the Lord was a blessing. She has enjoyed our deputation and telling people about Jesus and that we are missionaries to Mexico.

Update on Mariana’s paperwork:

We recently received word that Mariana's citizenship test is scheduled for December 16th. She has been doing a lot of studying to prepare for this test, and there were some questions that I even struggled to answer! Please help us; pray that Mariana can pass her test on December 16th.

Update on ministry preparation in Mexico:

We have been able to go down to Mexico almost every month since July. We have been working on preparation to get things set up for our move in the first week of February. The Lord has provided a piece of land for us! The Lord had a divine appointment set up for us with Luis Carlos. After talking to Luis about the land he was selling, he asked why we would leave a comfortable life in the States and move to Mexico. I told him I was a missionary going to start a church. He said he believes the world needs more good people who start churches. We witnessed to Luis Carlos, who said he would love to visit our church sometime. Please pray for Luis’ salvation. We set up a contract, and on September 25th, we purchased the land for $50,000. We were able to put down half of the price of the land. We have been working with an architect to design our house. Construction on our home will be starting on November 18. We pray that we can build a tiny house to move into by February for $35,000. We ask that you help us pray as the construction of our home is moving forward and that the Lord will provide the funds for us to continue to build. Several churches and individuals have asked us about personal needs; we will be more than grateful if you would like to help. We asked that you would send that in marked as housing. We are very thankful to the partners who have donated to this cause so far. While in Mexico, we canvased a place to start the church services. The Lord opened the door of a conference room at the Hyatt Place Hotel along the road where we have been praying to start the church. We are considering renting this conference room for up to 50 people for roughly $2000 a month. This already has everything for us to start, from the audio/video systems to seating and parking. The hotel has told us they will help us with pricing if we need more room. We ask that you help us pray that the Lord will secure that spot for us to start the services in this conference room. God has been so good in showing us the open doors and providing for us.
